One or two-handed specialise ranged weapons that inflict a variety of unusual effects.
Unlike any other kind of weapon, sprayers are ideal for coating an area in some kind of cruel and unusual substance.
With one and two-handed variants of most kinds, sprayers are further distinguished by their alternate areas of effect, their ignoring of target Evasion, and the fact they’re all Amateur weapons.
The true worth of these complicated tools of destruction is hidden within, waiting for a skilled user to unlock it.

Sprayers do not utilise projectiles to cause harm; they spray a substance. Sort of in the name.
When making an attack with a sprayer, you must choose whether to fire it as a cone or a line. A cone represents swinging the sprayer back and forth to disperse the spray over a wide, but short, area, while a line represents a single prolonged jet of substance that reaches a longer range at the cost of width.
Everything in the sprayed area is ‘hit’ by the substance. Including allies.
Sprayers ignore Evasion. They’re designed to hit targets who can dodge well, or make use of cover.
Depite this, roll to hit as normal. Your total competes with any Shields of creatures caught within the area of effect.
Armour can reduce the damage as normal.
Regardless of whether you choose to fire over a cone or a line, it uses a single shot; they’re roughly the same area, believe it or not.
All sprayers are Amateur weapons.
They do, however, each have a secondary hidden function that can only be used by Professionally Adept wielders.
