In the pre-poc, transiters were the newest division of modern militaries. The ultimate in breaching hostile buildings, overwhelming defensive locations, and outmanoeuvring sniper positions, transiters were vital to numerous goals in war. Able to teleport short distances by destabilising the user and zipping their particles forward, transiter devices are much harder to block or disrupt than longer range teleportations.

Using a combination of solar power and recycled XO, most teleporters are able to sustain themselves for an extremely long time...if given sufficient chance to recharge.

Why Play A Transiter

Getting a teleporter as standard, transiters have incredible mobility right from the start. Combining this with mastery of melee weapons, and numerous tools for disrupting enemies, it’s easy to see why transiters are feared opponents.

The subclasses - Momentum, Slingshot, and Vortex - each represent a different kind of teleporter that can be used, and the training that goes along with them. From tanks to thieves, transiters are a varied class.

Transiter Class

Adept

All Amateur melee weapons, and one Amateur ranged of your choice.

All armour.

Starting Equipment

One Adept ranged weapon, one melee weapon.

Soft (K-Insert) or hard (Tier 1) armour.

Basic Teleportation

Every teleporter used by transiter subclasses has the following abilities in addition to anything listed in their feature:

A maximum of 4 charges.

Recharges 1 charge per hour, starting from the moment the device has less than its maximum charges.

Spend 6m and 1 charge to instantly teleport up to 20m.

Unless stated otherwise, this can be used multiple times in a single turn.

This teleportation must be in a straight line (diagonally is allowed), and cannot go through solid objects; there must be a gap of at least 60cm.

Obstacles such as grills or wire fences are passable, as long as they are not so fine as to restrict the free passage of air.

When teleporting, it causes some eye-catching visual effect; a flash of light, puff of smoke, static in the air, etc.
